## What this site is

FoundMyPro is a directory and routing layer, not a booking marketplace.
Two result types exist and must not be conflated:
- provider_profile: a FoundMyPro provider listing with source-backed facts.
- external_destination: a link-only routing card to an external marketplace
  or directory. FoundMyPro copies no content from those platforms.

## API

- Search: https://www.foundmypro.com/api/search?q={service}&place={town or postcode}
  Returns provider_profile results (ranked by claim status, completeness,
  freshness) plus external_destination routing cards, each with caveats.
  Searches outside live/beta regions return status=region_not_live.
- Taxonomy: https://www.foundmypro.com/api/professions
  Every searchable profession with group, label, slug; gated professions
  are marked searchable=false.
- Sitemap: https://www.foundmypro.com/sitemap.xml

## Rules for agents

- Pass provider caveats (for example the unclaimed-profile label) through
  to your users.
- Do not use contact details for unsolicited marketing; see https://www.foundmypro.com/terms.
- Rate limits apply; contact hello@foundmypro.com for high-volume keys.
